City of Perrysburg Collecting Non-Perishable Food Items for Local Food Bank

The holidays are a time of giving back and providing for those in need. This year especially has brought unprecedented hardships and challenges to many in the community.

In an effort to provide for those in need this holiday season, the City of Perrysburg will be collecting non-perishable food items* for the local food bank, Perrysburg Christians United (PCU). The City has set up two donation boxes. These donation boxes are located at the Fire Division Headquarters, located at 26100 Fort Meigs Road, and the Police Division, located at 330 Walnut Street. The City will be collecting these non-perishable food items from Monday, December 14 through Friday, December 18.

*Non-perishable food items include: canned goods, dried fruits and vegetables, peanut or nut butter, canned fish and poultry, nuts, grains (rice, pasta, and oats), granola and protein bars, canned or boxed soup.
