November Election Information

Early voting is underway for the November General Election, which is held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023. The City of Perrysburg has a renewal and a replacement of two existing levies.  

The first is a 0.8 mill renewal for public transportation services. The levy is estimated to provide $539,000 annually for five years. If passed, the owner of a $100,000 home would pay $22 per year. The City of Perrysburg has had an agreement with Perrysburg Transit (operated by MTM Transit) to provide transportation services for residents. Perrysburg Transit has serviced the City for the past 10 years and is entering into its third contract. You can learn more about Perrysburg Transit here.  

The second levy is a 1 mill replacement for the collection and disposal of garbage and refuse for City residents. It is estimated to provide $825,000 annually for two years, which amounts to $1 for each $1,000 of property valuation. The owner of a $100,000 home would pay $35 per year for garbage and recycling pickup.   

The deadline to register to vote in the November General Election was Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023. Early, in-person absentee voting is underway and will continue through Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023. The polls in Ohio are open on election day (November 7, 2023) from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
