Safe Communities of Wood County, Ohio and the Perrysburg Fire Division are teaming up for the 2nd Annual Senior Safety Expo. It will be held on Friday, September 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  

The Senior Safety Expo will bring together a number of local resources to help seniors understand the importance of staying safe. Things such as preventing falls, poisonings, and burns, as well as avoiding scams and elder abuse. 

The schedule of events will be as follows: 

• Senior resource information booths: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. 
• Free Lunch and Learn: 12-1 p.m. 
• Senior resource presentations: 1-2 p.m.
• Drive through Car Fit station to check vehicle safety and proper seat belt use. Call Sandy Wiechman to reserve a spot: 419-372-9353 

 

The Senior Safety Expo will be held at Perrysburg Fire Division Headquarters at 26100 Fort Meigs Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
