Celebrate 27 Years of Clean Your Streams

August 4, 2023

The City of Perrysburg is joining Partners for Clean Streams in the 27th Annual Clean Your Streams Day on Saturday, September 30. Volunteers are needed to help remove trash from rivers, creeks, and ditches.

The kickoff location for Perrysburg will be at the Woodlands Park Shelter House. Volunteers will meet at 8 a.m. and will be sent to clean up sites along Grassy Creek, Grassy Creek Diversion Channel, Kohl Ditch, and access points along the southeastern side of the Maumee River. Volunteers will receive free lunch and a T-shirt.

If you would like to volunteer but cannot make it on September 30, PCS is offering a remote option for volunteers to clean up on-your-own through their Remote Kickoff Week, which is the week preceding Clean Your Streams Day. Volunteers can borrow supplies from Partners for Clean Streams and PCS staff is available to offer site suggestions or use your own on public property. Please register for the remote clean-up so PCS knows you are also helping our waterways.

Registration for in-person Clean Your Streams Day will close on September 22.
