Summer Recreation Program Hosts End of the Summer Events

The City of Perrysburg’s Summer Recreation Program has been in full swing since June 13 with 50 camps and activities keeping kids ages 3-14 years old busy all summer long. The final week of programming is August 1 and there are several events scheduled for that week. All activities will take place at Municipal Park, 915 Elm St. The following events are scheduled for Wednesday, August 3: 

Kids Color Run
First Night Out 
  • 6-9:15 p.m.
Perrysburg police will be on hand and will be serving up free hot dogs to participants. This event will also feature several outdoor games including an inflatable obstacle course and a dunk tank! No registration is needed. 


Glow Roll
 
Start time: 9:30 p.m. All participants should bring their own bicycles. There are two options for this event. Both options require registration.  

  • Option 1 – Receive a Glow Kit
    •  Sign up on Rec Desk – Must register by Friday, July 22
    • Cost: $5 for residents, $10 for non-residents 
  • Option 2 – Do not receive a Glow Kit

The following event is scheduled for Thursday, August 4: 

Last Day at the Park 
  • 10 a.m.-1 p.m. 
  • Free hot dog lunch, inflatable obstacle course, dunk tank, outdoor games, and much more!
