Registration for Safety Town begins on January 1, 2023. New this year, all registration and payments will be done online here. The purpose of Safety Town is to teach basic safety education focusing on pedestrian, bicycle, bus, and recreational safety. Children who will be entering Kindergarten or First Grade in the fall are strongly encouraged to attend.

Safety Town Information:

• Safety Town will be held at Woodland Elementary School and will run from June 5-16, 2023.
• The morning session will begin at 9 AM and end at 11 AM.
• The afternoon session will begin at 12 PM and end at 2 PM.
• Closing exercises for both sessions will be held in the morning on Friday, June 16, 2023.

New this year, we will be taking registrations and payments online. This is the same online portal that was used last summer for Summer Recreation Programs. If you signed up your child for Summer Rec through that website, you can log in with the same username and password. If you forgot your password, click "forgot password" to reset. If this will be your first time using the online portal, you will need to follow the steps to create an account. The cost for Safety Town is $35.

Registration opens on January 1, 2023 and closes on May 22, 2023.

The Safety Town program is presented for the Perrysburg school children by the City of Perrysburg with the cooperation of the Perrysburg Police Division. All teachers and police officers are fully certified. Children planning to attend Safety Town must live or attend school in the Perrysburg School District.
