The City of Perrysburg sends a friendly reminder to all Perrysburg residents that now is the time to check your mailbox to ensure that it will withstand the winter snows. The City will only replace/repair mailboxes that are actually hit by the snowplow, but will not repair any mailboxes which overhang the curb or edge of pavement, or have rotted at the base.

Please be reminded that the City of Perrysburg does not repair any mailboxes that are damaged as a result of snow and/or ice or any other object dispersed by the snowplow. It is the homeowners’ responsibility to maintain their mailbox. Mailboxes should not overhang any curb or pavement surfaces used as part of the travel lanes.
