Public Utilities Committee
The Public Utilities Committee reviews the annual budget of portions of the Department of Public Utilities operations including the Water Pollution Control Division, the Water Division, and related infrastructure as well as water, storm and sanitary sewers, and capital expansion projects involving utilities. The committee also reviews legislation involving utility rates, taps fees, and miscellaneous fees which the Department of Public Utilities is tasked to charge customers.
