How Is Your Material Collected?
Refuse
Refuse is collected weekly by city crews. Your refuse should be set out by 6:30 am the day of collection or after 6:00 pm on the night before collection. Make certain that your trash is secure in bags or trash cans. Trash cans/bags cannot be over 45 gallons or over 65 pounds.

Recycling is collected curbside on the same day as garbage by a separate city crew. Bottles and cans may be co-mingled in the red curbside recycling bin. All paper, including magazines, newspaper, junk mail, catalogs, and phone books must be placed in a paper bag separate from bottles and cans. Shredder paper may be set out for curbside collection in paper bags. Make certain the top of the bag is taped or stapled shut to avoid paper from falling out of the bag.
