Mercury is a hazard to our environment and the health of your family. Mercury is contained in fever thermometers (not digital), blood pressure measuring devices and all fluorescent bulbs.  Fluorescent bulbs can be recycled at Home Depot. They accept compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs at no charge. Keep Perrysburg Beautiful (KPB) conducts a thermometer exchange program at the annual spring Recycle Roundup.
