The City offers organized summer recreation programs June through August. The Summer Recreation Office is located at Municipal Park and is staffed June through August during program hours at 419-872-7968 or by contacting the Department of Public Service at 419-872-8020 Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Most actvities take place once or twice per week so everyone can have the opportunity to participate in many activities throughout the summer. Sports camps are available as well as foreign language, dance, arts and crafts activities. Special one day events include the annual pet show, teen pool parties and teen dances. 

Other recreational opportunities are offered by local recreation groups.
