Animal Control

The Police Division has the responsibility of responding to citizen complaints involving dogs, cats, and other animals; also the enforcement of city and state laws pertaining to the regulation of animals. The Animal Control Section is responsible for the majority of these complaints; however when the Animal Control Officer is not available an officer within the patrol section will resond to animal-related complaints received by the division.

Jeff Studer - Animal Control OfficerThis division does not handle complaints concerning wildlife unless the animal's behavior poses an immediate threat or risk to someone's safety. For questions concerning these types of animals contact the animal control officer at 419-872-7821.
