This park is an excellent location for fishing in the Maumee River. There is plenty of parking, fishing access, jet ski launch, canoe storage racks, picnic tables and a walking path along the river. There is a small hill for sledding during the winter. In 2012, a paved walking/bike path was constructed under the Maumee River bridge that links Orleans Park to Fort Meigs.
Orleans Park Jet Ski and Fishing Boat Launch
Launching of jet skis and boats is available at no charge. This boat launch is only suitable for shallow draft water vehicles and is dependent on the current depth of the Maumee River. There is no boat dock for tying off boats or jet skis. There is parking available for vehicles and boat trailers. There is no overnight parking of vehicles.
Canoe Storage Racks
The City of Perrysburg has four (4) canoe storage racks located at Orleans Park. Each of these racks has space for 12 canoes.There are a total of 40 rental spaces with eight (8) left available for transient use. The yearly rental fee is $25 for the season of April 1 to March 31 of the next year. The city provides the chains to secure the canoe and the users are responsible for providing their own lock.
People who currently have a storage space, must renew their spot by March 31, 2013. On April 1, spaces may become available. Click here for canoe rack rental agreement.

Vendor Permits
Twice a year, the city posts a Notice to Bidders in the Perrysburg Messenger Journal.
In May, the city advertises for a food vendor in Orleans Park for the July 4th fireworks.
In December, the city advertises for vendors of fishing supplies and food in Orleans Park during the walleye fishing season of March 1 through June 15.
The minimum bid for each vendor permit is $125. A completed Orleans Park bid form must be submitted to the Director of Public Service at 11980 Roachton Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. Click here for the bid form.
