Business and industry continue to establish offices and small manufacturing plants in the Perrysburg area due, in part, to its proximity to major east/west and north/south highways: Interstates 75, 475, 80/90 (Ohio Turnpike); U.S. Routes 20 & 23; and State Routes 25, 65, 199, & 795.  Perrysburg is served by nearly 100 major trucking companies, Detroit Metro airport, the Toledo Express Airport, CSX Railroad, the Port of Toledo, and three major parcel service companies. 

In addition the city successfully partners with the private sector, as is evident with the location of the O-I World Headquarters to Perrysburg and the 2005 opening of Levis Commons, the region’s premier master planned community. Levis Commons offers 400 acres of open-air lifestyle shopping in unique stores; fine dining; movie theatres; entertainment; the Hilton Hotel and Conference Center; and an urban lifestyle of apartments, townhouses and homes. Downtown Perrysburg also remains a focal point of economic development. In January, 2008 Perrysburg Main Street, Inc. was formed with the mission of stimulating economic vitality of the downtown area, improving its visual appearance and quality of life, and preserving its rich historical traditions and architecture.
